Happy Labor Day!

I hope everyone had a happy Labor Day today!  I missed spending the day with my family at the camp, but I know they all had a great time.

I woke up early this morning, went to the gym, and then went to this cute bakery a few blocks from our apartment.  Apparently, it's kind of famous.  It's called the Silver Moon Bakery and it kind of reminds me of Louie's only because once they run out of stuff, it's gone for the day.  Jan and I went, had a few cups of coffee, she read, and I got some grad school work done which was exciting. So far, my plan is to apply to five schools, but we'll see where the wind takes me.  :)

We start up with BTA (Basic Training Academy) again in the morning and I'm excited to meet my new crazy team for the week.  It's always exciting to get to start working with new people.  We are also wearing a semi-City Year uniform tomorrow.

Looking forward to a busy, but fun week!

I'm also SO excited for all the visitors that are coming soon!  I can't wait.  My mom will be here in 10 days to kick off "visiting season."  We are going to shop and possibly go to Ellis Island.  Whatever she wants to do is what we'll do!  I'm looking forward to spending some time with her.

On that note, I'm going to try to get some sleep....finally.  I know I'll regret not going to sleep earlier in the morning.

NIGHTY NIGHT!
